Kidogo improves access to quality, affordable Early Childhood Care & Education in East Africa’s low-income communities. Their social franchising model targets working mothers relying on crowded, unlicensed “babycare” centers. Kidogo addresses this by implementing nurturing care for early childhood development, prioritizing health, nutrition, safety, security, and responsive caregiving. They identify, train, and support female entrepreneurs (Mamapreneurs) to establish or expand childcare micro-businesses in local communities.
