Office to be led by Nicola Crosta, Executive Vice-President of Epic Foundation, former United Nations top executive
(August 31, 2015) (New York, NY) – Epic Foundation announced today the official opening of a new office in Bangkok. The office will be led by Nicola Crosta, Executive Vice President of Epic Foundation and will play a key role in supporting Epic Foundation’s global network of social organizations and partners.
Nicola Crosta is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of experience in leading international organizations across developing countries. Prior to his role at Epic Foundation, he held senior positions at the United Nations (UNCDF), serving as Country Representative in Cambodia (2008-2011) and then as Global Head of Policy in New York (2011-2014) and at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Nicola’s work has been published extensively; he has written numerous publications and delivered lectures on development economics and philanthropy worldwide (including at Harvard, MIT and Sciences Po).
In addition to being an expert, Nicola founded his own nonprofit organization - Kids Home Foundation provides thousands of migrant children across Southeast Asia with access to education and healthcare. “Nicola’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the international development industry drives our ongoing effort to support donors and social organizations globally. We were very fortunate to have someone of Nicola’s caliber to lead our programs team and Epic Foundation’s Bangkok office,” said Alexandre Mars, CEO and Founder of Epic Foundation.
