Epic is looking to hire a Public Relations and Media Associate in our New York-based communication team who will support Epic’s public relations strategy in the United States through media and events outreach. The position is based in the New York City office and reports to the Vice-President of Marketing & Communications.
Epic’s mission to make giving the norm relies heavily on targeted communication and advocacy and the Associate will promote the messages of the Epic communications strategy to achieve timely print, broadcast and online media coverage in the US through proactive outreach to journalists an influencers. The Associate will collaborate with other members of the communications team covering other regions as well as Epic’s social media community managers and, depending on experience, may coordinate or even manage the work of more junior team members.
Epic participates in numerous global and local events where our speakers articulate our message and research, and the Associate will promote and coordinate the participation of Epic at external events, trade conference and forums as well as charity awards.
